Publication Ethics

This journal may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, or linked to the full text of this article, store the article, browse for indexing, pass it as data to software, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from obtaining access to the internet itself.

The statement of the code of ethics of scientific publications is made based on the regulation of the head of LIPI No. 5 of 2014 on the Code of ethics of scientific publications. The publication code of ethics is a norm that must be complied with by authors who will publish their scientific work in publication media, including:

  • Moral: being able to distinguish good and bad behavior in writing.
  • Scientific integrity: uphold the rules, essence and scientific truth, so as not to sacrifice it for the sake of any interest.
  • Neutrality: free from conflict of interest in the management of publications.
  • Justice: granting the right of authorship to the entitled as author.
  • Honesty: free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Disclosure and conflict of interest
Unpublished material in a submitted article may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Duties and responsibilities of the Editor-In-Chief

  1. Determine the name of the journal, Scientific scope, blessing, and accreditation if necessary.
  2. Specifies editor membership.
  3. Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, smart partners, and other parties.
  4. Appreciate things that are confidential, both for contributing researchers, authors/authors, editors, and smart partners.
  5. Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
  6. Review Journal policies and communicate them to authors/authors, editors, smart partners, and readers.
  7. Creates code behavior guidelines for editors and wizard partners.
  8. Publish journals regularly.
  9. Ensure the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publishing.
  10. Build a network of cooperation and marketing.
  11. Improve the quality of the journal.
  12. Prepare licensing and other aspects of legality.

Duties and responsibilities of the Editor

  1. Editors comment on the author's writing so that readers can understand what the author wants to convey, through comments written on the article.
  2. The Editor comments on the author's writing in accordance with the EBI language (Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia) or language in accordance with the standardization of the journal.
  3. Editors strive to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis;
  4. Editors promote freedom of opinion objectively,
  5. Editors submit corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies if necessary,
  6. The Editor ensures that the author's writing does not involve SARA or anything that can harm the publisher and coordinates the author's writing to the editor-in-chief of the publisher if the writing is a little controversial.
  7. The Editor receives, reviews, and follows up complaints from all parties involved in publishing the journal;
  8. Editors support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics,
  9. The Editor does not defend his own opinion, the author or third parties that may result in non-objective decisions,
  10. Editors encourage authors/writers, in order to make improvements to the paper to be published.
  11. The Editor layouts the article to be published so that it matches the journal template.
  12. The Editor assists the editor-in-chief in finalizing the collection of articles before they are printed and published, especially in terms of language, format and layout.

Duties and responsibilities of Mitra Bestari

  1. Provide objective and unbiased written feedback on the scientific value and contribution of articles to the development of science;
  2. Indicate whether the writing of the article is clear enough, complete, and relevant, and whether the article is in accordance with the scope of the journal;
  3. No criticism or comments of a personal nature; and
  4. Maintaining the confidentiality of the article, by not discussing it with unrelated parties, or disclosing information contained in the article to other parties.

Author Ethics
Code of ethics that must be met by the authors who will publish scientific articles in engineering journals:

  1. Authors must uphold scientific conductunderstand the benefits / advantages and risks of published writing.
  2. Articles published are free from misconduct, including: fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism/autoplagiarism.
  3. The author is obliged to include adequate citations on all statements, ideas, data, which are not the result of his research.
  4. Published articles do not cause conflict with certain parties or potentially disturbing the public.
  5. The authors listed in the published articles are really those who are competent and have a meaningful contribution to the writing of the article.
  6. The author does not make a double publication of the article to be published (double manuscript submission) to journals or other means of publication, simultaneously (simultaneously).
  7. Part or all of the published articles have never been published in other publications.
  8. Published articles are original research results, ideas or thoughts of the author.

If the article has been declared accepted, the author is required to fill out an author's statement on the Code of ethics of scientific publications signed on stamp duty by the main author
