Abstract

Umauta Tourism Village, located in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, possesses unique natural and cultural attractions. However, tourists have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the limited supporting facilities and infrastructure within the village. Consequently, this study aims to formulate a management strategy for Umauta Tourism Village to enhance tourist satisfaction. A mixed-methods approach was employed, involving data collection through observation, interviews, literature reviews, and questionnaires distributed to 132 respondents. The study utilized IFE, EFE, and IE analyses to identify factors influencing the management of Umauta Tourism Village, encompassing 10 indicators of strengths, 9 of weaknesses, 9 of opportunities, and 5 of threats. SWOT analysis yielded seven alternative management strategies. These alternatives were subsequently analyzed using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) to determine implementation priorities. The Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) was evaluated on a scale of 1–4, with higher total TAS values serving as the criterion for higher implementation priority.Among the seven strategies, sustainable management of Umauta Tourism Village was selected as the priority for implementation, achieving a TAS of 94.17.
